umm, yeah.....brian rocks, but i mean, he just abandoned KoRn, that was skrewd up...KoRn isnt a satanist band or anyting...i don't see WHY brian had to leave KoRn to find God, it makes no sense to me....

KoRn may not be a Satanist band, but they certainly don't say anything positive, and their lifestyle had a lot to do with it. You don't have to espouse Satan to have a negative influence on people.

pfft, i guess so...

i suppose its different if you're IN the band as opposed to listening to them, but it seems as though brian just had too little self-control...i pretty much lost any respect i had for him when he left in 2005...

lol, munky's better anyway Very Happy

I had more respect for him since he turned to Jesus. KoRn is not the end-all of everything, for that 15 minutes of fame is not worth eternity.

Lost respect for him???!!! The man turned from a cash cow and gave up wads of money to serve his GOD! you should look at him as a hero.

well, say what you want. i'm not going to argue on a forum such as this. However, i will say this much,

what he did was all but betreyal to 4 people that were like brothers to him, who loved him, and if he can't stay loyal to them, i don't see how he could possibly stay faithful to God, and even if so, he didn't have to leave in the way that he did.

BTW: nicely put ladyrocker, i like the wording....

click on the link, then click on the sidebar where it says "The Riches" and then click on Korn. You can read what Brian says about why he quit.

I actually like Korn BUT when you hear God calling you to do something you have to just do it.
People have done a lot more drastic things for God that quitting a band. On the same page as above, go to "The Palace" and find The Martyrs Museum.

lol. im catholic. trust me, i know ALL about what people do for God, such as...being crucified UPSIDEDOWN!!! Shocked
or the saint who got her head almost cut off and lived, bleeding and suffering and dying for 3 days, all the while holding three fingers up to represent the father, son, and holy-spirit!! hahaha, no offense Very Happy
just saying.

yeah, i can appreciate his reasoning, i've read all about it. the meth addiction, the lifestyle, i get it, i simply don't appreciate the way that he left 'em.

Ok just so long as you understand.
They never talked about martyrs in my catholic school when I was growing up Sad I would have liked that knowledge like years ago.
