I have blocked the entire disco era from my memory. As for the 90's. I was really not there. After the demise of my band I checked out of music for about 15 years. I only got stuff friends sent me and worship. But I got all the major stuff. It was fun in 2005 when I re-surfaced. There was so much stuff I missed. But in the end, I still love the 80's best.

Speaking of the 80's. Yesterday at the terminal in the workout room I found a channel that made me think not all t.v. is bad.
VH1 classics. Wow!! I watched like 2 hours of 80's videos that brought me back to my childhood. Motley Crue, Poison, Stevie Ray, the list goes on.
I was soooooo into it I did over 3 miles and when I stopped my legs were so wobbly I almost fell over.
Then I watched some of "That Metal Show" If you never saw it go to VH1.com and look it up. That was so good I ended up doing another 1+ on the....I think it's called elliptical. The machine where it looks like you're walking on skis with poles.

But all those old videos were great.

The fact that it calls itself 'classic' makes me feel old. I clearly remember when all that WAS all there was on Mtv.
It sure gave me a craving for some hair metal!
Now I am gonna have to watch that channel whenever we get to a terminal cuz I'm usually the only one using the workout room and in the drivers lounge all the drivers are sitting around stuffing their faces watching lame-o stuff on the big t.v.

I can't believe such a cool channel exists!

I know same here and I hate t.v. as much as you do. But damn
we'd need a dish to put on the truck and then I'd have to try and adjust it while we're driving 60 mph down the highway.
yikes! I'll just stick to watching it whenever I can.

Never saw it.
But there's a lot I've never seen.
??? for you and Victor - do you guys have as hard of a time as I do telling people to make them understand
"I don't watch t.v."
I tell people and they go "O.K." Then like 30 seconds later "You know on (fill in name of show) and there's that one guy who...?" or start talking about last weeks episode and you just look at them all crazy and have to repeat but louder and slower
" I....DON'T.....WATCH.....T.V. YOU KNOW THAT BOX???WITH THE MOVING PICTURES???? I DO NOT.....WATCH...IT"
