We never had cable and if we had, my parents would have never allowed me to watch Headbangers Ball or probably MTV for that matter.

However we did used to watch Friday night videos.

Oh, how MTV has changed. Did you guys know that MTV is one of the biggest contributors to Planned Parenthood, and that they have a special hotline for teen girls to call, to get abortions without their parents' permission?

yea tonya i knew that actually [ I read about it at christiangoth.com] and I count it as yet another reason to not watch mtv. not like we watch any tv in the truck - we cant even get regular channels which I honestly don't care about since I can't stand tv anyway.

your right, and now i know that it is wrong for ppl to do that. three years ago i went with my good frends sister to get on done becouse she was scaired and didnt want her mom and dad to know. so i went with her, and well it still is with me today.

I appreciate H. B. It's cool in Denmark. I'm not familiar with the old stuff though back then....but we have a chick now and she's cool enought. Nice especially when you're a rock chick yourself..

Great post, the original Headbanger's Ball was the best, MTV is total garbage today, it doesn't have anything to do with music at all.
