| Absolutely!
If it's going to Democrat, I think we'd be better off with Obama. None of the Republican candidates impress me as much as he impresses me, but I WILL vote Republican period if Hillary wins the Democratic nomination. _________________ "Who among the gods is like you, O LORD ? | I like Fred. I think I can go with him over Giuliani. I'm sure there are a lot of women that will go for Hillary. I'm just not one of them. |

| I would vote for anyone except Obama...Even Hillary. I would honestly vote for a jar of mayonaise before I would Obama.. Or worse yet, not excercise my right to vote... |

| Consider that our president is the CEO of the country...it's probably the best analogy...there is still a "board" as well as other administrating bodies to contend with. No socialist agenda is going to get through without a fight.
President Hillary Clinton may be just what this nation needs to get back on track. After all, the "Republican Congress" followed as a reaction to her husbands presidency. Traditionally, our nation doesn't want both the Whitehouse and the Congress to belong to one party. Electing Bill did not signal the beginning of "The Age of Democrats".
Of the Democratic canditates in the race, she has been the most balanced and struggles the most not to make stupid and outlandish comments that may could come back to haunter, and I believe she would be the most responsible of the group. She knows what's at stake in Iraq. She won't be making any knee jerk decisions.
Unless the Republicans can produce a clear front runner, someone with "actual" traditional values, a responsible Dem could prove a better overall choice than a "not quite" Republican. Either she would totally surprise us with a balanced bi-partisan approach or be forced to eat that humble pie the left has been baking these past six years.
Call it a four year breather for the Republican party to regroup while they figure out what it is conservative are really concerned about. |

| My hubby and I have been talking and all I keep saying is "Don't forget there are a few other nice countries that we can go to." Unlike all the Dems who said they'd leave the country last election if Bush got back in, I really would leave the country if it got so bad here I felt totally hopeless and helpless. But Vade, you live in a pineapple under the sea you should be safe from all this dryland stuff. LOL! _________________ Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it. | Well, Romney has quit, Thompson has quit,... Huckabee is nowhere near beating McCain, so the news mecca is saying McCain is THE ONE for the Republican nomination.
I really wonder if a third party would hold realistically its own in this race. I read an article yesterday in Newsweek about "Restless Marjority Americans". I recognized myself immediately and identified greatly with the description of the "RAMs".
Here's a link to the article:

| Peace I read your post to my hubby and he groaned. He says "Great, now we're stuck with a RINO (Republican In Name Only) who's just going to pander to the left" We like his border policy and that he dosen't just want to "cut and run" as the catch phrase goes but really he dosen't have much else going. In our humble opinion. I think third party people are going top get a lot I mean a LOT of votes this election. And while some believe that it's throwing your vote away to vote third party, the only wasted vote is one you don't use at all. And if you have enough people voting third party, the 2 main parties might just start to realize that they don't represent the people like they think they do. I would never EVER give Huckabee my vote for this reason http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/12/08/huckabee-quarantine-aids-patients-in-92/
I mean how ignorant, coldhearted, and just plain idiotic is that?!?! Oh check this out http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/members/m000303/key-votes/ McCain's voting records. You can check any one of the candidates there too. I just got a early morning ulcer reading through that. UG! _________________ Life and death, energy and peace.
