| quick background - I read the book Memnoch the Devil by Anne Rice and in the book it deals with theistic evolution in a roundabout way, among many other things (different idea of hell for example) and at the time I was still a bad girl and it was a stepping stone for me to kinda come back around. But I don't really believe in it. I think it's one thing to think that the 6 days that God created the world in are more like 6 ages, but I personally can't buy evolution. I think it's kinda a copout by believers to say "No scientists, there is a God and He made everything, but ok maybe He caused evolution." _________________ Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it. Even the terrible mistakes that I made and would have unmade if I could. The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it, for having been allowed to walk where I've walked, which was to hell on earth, heaven on earth, back again, into, under, far in between, through it, in it, and above. -Gia Carangi |
