| We had a friend build some catwalks for us... very cheap and easy, and makes life so much fun for the cats. I added two in the kitchen and four in a hallway.
I hate cats on the kitchen counter - I chase 'em off (squirt em with water), but this has been the best! They stay on the washer/dryer or the catswalks and never bother with anywhere else in the kitchen!
And here is my son with our dog, Nico... I love this pic!

| | I have one shelf in the house that I keep the good silverware....well I caught the cat up on that shelf yesterday...we both went away with a few injuries. |

| Yep, scritches given. The orange one is Oliver (she's 15 years old now) and Aria is a little rescue from here. No, Squeaker went to a wonderful place in Lancaster when we left - remember we had so many rescues, and still we moved with FOUR cats.
Now with Aria, we have five... we are INSANE! But someone dumped on our property and she came to us all starved and scared. Now she's quite happy and just a little darling - sweet personality.

| Tonne helped nurse Squeakers when he was just two - three weeks old. It was a litter of four and the mother had been hit by a car and killed.
We got them in rescue-fostering and he was the LOUDEST baby of the bunch! He squeaked his mews soooo loudly at feeding and bathing time. He had quite a personality!
All the kittens thrived, went to good homes, and we kept Squeaker. Like I said, we must be insane. 
And yes, Nicolas is built like his father, too. He didn't quite reach his dad's height of 6'2" - Nick stopped at 5'11". But to watch them walk side by side is amazing - it's VERY obvious who Nicolas belongs to.

Wow, thats almost exactly how I came across my "Squeekers". Me and my wife heard a loud squeeking noise from outside. we looked outside just in time to see a log truck straddle a baby kitten. The mother was squashed a few days prior  . But it was her loud squeeking that got our attention and we brought her in and she became the matriarch of over 32 cats. |

| | I probably should have named Cozette "Squealer" because she squealed so loud we thought she was a bird, until the squealing continued on after dark, when John went out to the shed with a flashlight and found what he thought at first was a fluff of cat fur left over from a fight.....until it moved! Then it turned around and had this little face......... :-) |
