Chat room

I noticed when this forum was new we had a chat room. I guess I didn't really notice it was gone until today. I have been talking to several people about how good the chats used to be. I know there is maybe just a small majority wanting to have the chat back. I would like to bring up an idea. First of all we need some way to interact in real time again. The chat board is great but not live of course. Would it be possible for me to moderate some kind of chat on here. I have plenty of time in the evenings and would love to host the chats. This way someone is in the room at a certain time instead of hit and miss. We would all have to agree on a time each evening to all meet up on here for those that are interested. Mike and Jen did a tremendous job years ago hosting chats. Things have gotten really busy for both of them over the years and I can really apreciate that. So if it's ok I would love to step up and give it a shot. Let me know when possible.

Jimmy, the chat is still here and is definitely a LIVE chat room! Very Happy

It's at the bottom of the main page with the entry point listed in red right above it in the information box.

We hosted another board last night to share and exchange ideas and had a great chat with about six of us.

I'm game for most any nights - what time zone are you and when can we start? Friday night? hehehe What a Face

Hey Marcia,

Thanks for getting back. I had the wrong page book marked. That's why I couldn't see the chat hehe. Anyway I have the right page now. This Friday sounds great. I can make it in 4pm pacific my time for everyone else it would be 7pm on the east, then 6pm for the central time zone. I would really like to get involved again with everyone.

Could we make it just a little later? Normally I don't work on Fridays, but I am helping someone out at work and won't get off until 7pm. By the time I get home and get dinner for the fam, it may be 8:30 or so.

Thanks Gary...I'll do my best. This is going to be a lot of fun. And yes Marcia we can work out another time. You pick the time and I'll be there. I have no prior comments Friday night.
