... Well hello bounce

I had given up on christians a few years ago, after 7 years of going to church and never once being spoken to by anyone under the age of 40 pretty much made me feel that sleeping was a far better idea than going to church on a sunday, despite my church being "Fantastic for the youth"...

Finding you guys is great:) restored my hope is being an alternative Christian...

Welcome Dark Rose, It's a shame you weren't out here in CA "back in the day".
That was the whole point behind Sanctuary.
Bands were out in the clubs reaching out to people but once those people came to faith many churchs just didn't know what do to with these "metal Christians".

Sanctuary was born out of that need. It was an open and accepting place for headbangers, punks, freaks or whatever other "interesting" culture one might belong to.
But it is Biblically sound. We believe the Bible is God's inspired word and we teach what the Bible teaches.

That I know of there is only one active Sanctuary today.
Sanctuary San Diego. Very big on goth and alternative.

Welcome to Sanctuary, Dark Rose.

I hope you will stay and fellowship with us. It 's going to be a little quiet here while most are at Cornerstone California this weekend, but there will be a faithful few hanging around.

Oh, yea.... we are definitely different. Very Happy
