| Hi,
I'm new here. My name is Linz, I just turned 23 on jan. 3rd. I recently became very close with God and our Lord, Jesus Christ. I joined a church for the first time in my life and enjoy it very much. I found this website while searching for some "unconventional" christians, as I have found I'm not exactly a "traditional christian." I've read a few articles here and am loving what I read. I'm not much for forums, so I'm learning how to post and so forth. I hope I am welcomed. And I hope this is a place I can enjoy.

if you can get podcasts check out some of Pastor Bob's old episodes and check out in the media section some of the band links. It all depends on your taste in music. I'm still semi-new to the scene but I am loving it on the light side! But the podcasts are great to listen to anyway!

Rock, light rock, hard rock, punk rock...I guess stuff like that, I was kinda looking for some either christian punk music or if there is such a thing, christian hard metal?

Oh, yes! There is most definitely such a thing and it is not new. There is another board that we all frequent as well, called the Christian Metal Realm (http://christianmetalrealm.niceboard.com/index.htm), that can introduce to you to a lot of Christian Metal. Their music sections are even separated into Christian metal and secular metal for people who want only Christian metal.
Pretty much all of us here are into Christian metal as well.
We can give you the low down on bands from different decades, genres, countries - however you want it broken down. We all have our favorites too. Give us an idea of what you like and we'll hook you up.

some of the above mentioned bands are there. Being that I don't get much online time, my scearching into the new music has been slower than I'd like
