my birthday

Today is my birthday....Im 42.
Happy birthday to me

I drink and I pee
I drink till I cant see
Its the only way I can make the beast inside of me flee. Evil or Very Mad

what do I do for my birthday...I work. I come home to a lonely house. I celebrate by my normal twelve pack of natural light beer. I go to bed, get up and go to work at 11pm tonight just like normal.... drunken

One day God promised me peace.....it will come within a year.
ANyway....Thank God for Pastor Bob and sacntuary and the fruit they produced in the eighties in the form of caring and the bands....and the caring....those was the day.

There are other ways of dealing w/"the beast", my mother drastically changed her life well over a decade ago. She had many issues, alchohol abuse was one, through 12-step programs and various forms of spirituality, she is not the same person she once was. She has an inner peace that most christians claim to have, but do not.

Experience tells us that to medicate the monster only serves to fuel him.
It might seem harder to starve him, but the more you do, the weaker he gets, the easier it is to nail him to the wood.
Cuz no matter how much you medicate him, he'll get hungry again and start pushin' "those buttons".
You don't like your buttons pushed, kill the monster. Wink

The beast is not alchohol.....Its a personal demon that knows my every sorrow and hurt, every foul thing that has ever happened in my life this demon knows......I call it a demon simply because it makes it easier to target for execution. It is my mind, to tell you all the truth i am on so much medicine to keep me semi- human and out of jail that any normal person would be a zombie.....four meds that keeps me human.....To be honest its a hell of a life to have to live but they keep me sedated so I still live and dont kill myself.

I don't think anyone interprated "the beast" as alchohol, but rather there are better ways of dealing w/it then drinking.
