| Church in a bar? Pastor Bob and his friends Nathan Lee and Damien Horne are going to be having a night of rock, worship and Words of Love and Truth in a bar in Nashville, TN. It all started about a year ago when Nathan Lee started doing concerts on Wednesday nights at a bar called the Rutledge in Nashville. Nathan is a great musician in the spirit of Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen and a believer. He actually won a Dove award. Somehow Pastor Bob and him became friends and Bob started going to his shows. What most people don't know is Pastor Bob plays piano really well, he used to be in a band called the New Christie Minstrels back in the day (google them). Anyway, Bob has joined Nathan on stage for some of their gigs. They stopped doing shows in the summer ans resume on Monday nights about 6 weeks ago. They have been selling out the place on Monday nights!!! They have had many guest musicians show up over the past months, including Phil Madiera! They have been playing worship music in a bar and people were dancing and worshipping! Then they decided that God was calling them to stop but didnt know why. They thought was all over. In the down time, Pastor Bob, Nathan and Damien decided they needed to try this on Sunday nights and see what God does.
Refuge at the Rutledge begins...

| I just had to tell you that I almost ALMOST made it to the area on a corresponding day. Last week we were in Lebanon (TN - duh) Monday and Tuesday. Course it still wouldn't have helped because you can only have the company car out for 2 hours. _________________ Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it. | yeah and a Lebanon IN but since the Rutledge is in TN I added the duh. But there is only one city called Metroplis - it's in IL and yes there's Superman stuff everywhere! _________________ Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it.
