I am reading a very good book by this man called THE GREAT COMPROMISE. So far I am blown away by it. The FORWARD of the book had me almost in tears. What is everyones view on this man? What I mean to say is he isnt a flake like Benny Hinn, or Kenneth Copeland or Tootin Tilton is he? So far I have only found a few minor flaws in his thinking, mostly politically correct errors that can be easy overlooked. I sure hope he isnt in the Flake catigory because I am enjoying this book.

I've always had an appreciation for Greg Laurie. He's been spot-on with a lot of stuff that is important. I think he's a good down-to-earth preacher. Harvest Crusades is a good ministry, in my humble opinion.

Greg came up under Chuck Smith in the Calvary Chapel movement. Good man. Not a name it and claim it type. Fairly balanced. I like him.

Ahhh, if he came up under Chuck then he has to be good. We only have 2 Calvary Chapels in my state, so my church is 55 miles from me. But since I have to work on both of the church service days, It dont really matter. Thanx alot folks for the info on Laurie. I cant wait for work because thats where I read... God Bless
