Was Jesus P.C. ?

At the risk of opening an UGLY can of worms, I felt the need to pose this question to my fellow Christians. "Was Jesus Politically Correct"?
He was willing to accept ANYONE exactly where they stood. No matter what their sin Jesus was there to embrace them. But my question is,
"Did he ONLY embrace them and accept them where they were with no expectations or hope for them to change their lifestyles"? I wonder if he EVER withheld the FULL truth of the One True God in order to NOT OFFEND these people that was not following the truth.
Now comes the part that I hope doesnt cause hard feelings...MY OPINION.
I must admit, I cannot imagine Jesus just accepting the fact that these people whom he loved was going to walk away and continue in sin because he didnt want to offend them in some way with the truth. Honestly from what I read in the bible, Jesus brought uproar and sometimes even chaos when he boldly proclamed the truth to the unwilling and sin-seared masses. I know many of my friends an peers who become almost insane with rage when someone speaks of the statistics of certain activities that happen in my community (A backwoods redneck closed off mountain old community). Its not that the things people say isnt the truth, but they dont want to hear the truth of the statistics and dont want to face the truth. I wonder how Jesus would fare if his first coming would have involved a community like mine . scratch

Oh and BTW...I fit into my community well hehe. Razz

I would like to hear some other peoples ideas and input on this.

i have no idea what this says, i am sorry to say, because of the hunter green against the black background. we need to make this board easier to read. i cant even see my cursor when i type!

I am sorry about the green, I am colorblind myself and im not sure of the colors that I am using all the time....I will probably use a more bright looking color on the black background from now on....again Im sorry.

is there a way to set the preferences where my computer will see this board as a lighter color in the background? i would not mind black type on white background, plain, really. for some reason, i cannot even see my cursor!

i think j.c. was definitely not p.c.!

he showed love to the unlovable. the "religous" people of the day hated him for it! he hated their sin, but loved the sinner.

Yep, exactly, and he NEVER watered down the word or kept the truth quiet for fear of offending someone....Man we need more people like that today.

i think jesus was even more offended by the "zealots" than he was the all out pagans of the day! i mean, it is amazing how the tax collectors and prostitutes were more attentive to what he had to say than the pharases and scribes!

when i think of people who were "christlike", i think of johnny cash's biography, in the photosection in the middle, you see johnny cash sitting in an alley, hanging out with a homeless man.

i get so sick and tired of uppidy people at church who think their poop dont stink!

He was upset at the zealots mostly because they just didnt get it....They were in the whole thing for power....Yea, I guess Jesus did probably have a hard time with them, moreso than pagans....I guess there is a place for uppity christians, I just cant figger out where it is yet LOL.
