| The news is abuzz with something one professor at some university claiming that Moses received revelation from God for receiving the Ten Commandments while high on drugs. In my opinion, this is the new Easter conspiracy of the year. We have had others, like the Jesus tomb conspiracy that try to do the very same thing. Solomon once said that there is nothing new under the sun. How true that is, indeed! | |

| Yeah..ok. Ya know one minute these "intelligent minds" want to write off everything they can in the whole Bible, the next they want to say that what's been there forever isn't really what they meant or not really what happened. | |

| Of course it is much easier to talk with any higher power when intoxicated on any mind altering substance. What made Moses special is that he wrote down the message so he wouldn't forget the next morning. Seriously, if you saw me talking to a burning bush or other such item you might think I was high as well.
Cheers,

| I don't buy it, we see that at times men who communed w/God fell in a trance or were caught up in the spirit, however this is God initiated, as opposed to man initiated through drugs or some other synthetic means. |

| I've heard some good ones as well. I think my favorite is the "explanation" for Jesus walking on the water. "Experts" claim he was actually floating on a block of ice. How exactly He managed to balance on a block of wet ice wearing sandals and how this large block of ice formed isnt addressed. | |

| That poor professor. I wonder if he even thought about the implications (to himself) of his own statement. | |
