Hola all!

I attended a mass today at St. Patricks Cathederal in Manhattan today. What a great place! I'll put some pictures up in the next few days when I get a chance, but for those who don't know, it is a gothic-style cathederal that was built in New York City in the nineteenth-century.

Now for many years, I was not a fan of building ornate churches, but now I think this was just a reaction to the corporate pat-back churches that dot America today. Just sitting and watching the mass, it was really awe inspiring. I really got the sense of the immense-ness and totality of God in that place. Good times . . .

I attend this one, oldest parish in Akron, Oh, not gothic architecture, but still awe inspiring!

I was baptized there as an infant through a Catholic orphanage.

You must put those pics up Ian. Being an Anne Rice fan that church plays a special part in a few of her books.
