| Since no one had any input to my Zombie movie ? it makes me wonder...... Am I the only horror movie fan here? I was reading a webpage on Christians who watch horror movies and it said to make sure you're watching them for the right reason and not to watch if they make you think unChristian like thoughs and whatnot. yeah got that. Then I came across a blog, which was started and never reposted to "Zombies for Jesus" (if you google it you should pull it up) the dude is a Christian who loves horror movies. But never updated his blog from like over a year ago. it had promise, just never fufilled it. If anyone knows this guy tell him to update! I love horror movies - they are my favourite type of movie. Maybe it's the goth in me. I can't stand chick flicks, action movies bore the H-E- double hockey stick outta me. Comedy I'm very picky on and don't laugh at much slapstick - no, party humour - yes . I like fiction movies, but most the ones I watch are crime based or sad Helter Skelter (the old one not the remake), Monster, Quills, Gia . Mind twister movies are good - Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Momento, Butterfly Effect, Flatliners is an oldie but goodie etc. Dramas I like but only if they don't go too into the chick flicky side - Sophie's Choice, American History X, Requiem for a Dream Musicals -no way except for an occasional desire to go dress up on Saturday nite and go to Rocky! So...what do we all watch here? Movie wise I mean. Fave movies/genres? Actors/actresses? What makes you laugh, cry, sleep with the lights on? | |

| ooh was Sweeny Todd good? I wanna see it just cuz I love all things Depp. I didn't even consider Nightmare before Christmas or Corpse Bride in musicals but I do love both those. Nightmare is one of my fave movies! if you like corny zombie movies check out Dead Hate the Living it's not old old like maybe 10 yrs old very cheezy very zombie. not too much a fan of Star Wars but love LoTR and after being forced to watch them realized I really like the Chronicles of Riddick and Pitch Black. What kind of comedy do you like? I mean you seem to have really good taste in movies so maybe your laff fests would make me laff. | |

| yay fellow horror movie buffs!! so what are some of your faves?? I am wanting to track down some of the old grindhouse flicks - I spit on your grave, last house on the left and ??? I need a new copy of the old Texas Chainsaw Massacre mine's an old old tape I recorded off IFC (independant film channel) I actually like the Hostels I didn't think I was gonna like the 2nd one but I did and not just because of the nod to Elizabeth Bathory with the first kill. I need some more zombie movies to watch so Yankee ask your wife and Jim just tell me. I never heard of Fido - what is that? As far as comedy, of the films Victor listed I love Monty Python and the Adam Sandler flics those 2 areactually my fave Sandler flics and we have almost all of them. The rest of your movie choices I never saw. I never saw so I married an axe murderer. I'm a little iffy with Mike Meyers. It really depends on my mood with him. | |

| Some of my favorite movies are kind of hard to find oldies from the 80s. Make Them Die Slowly Blood Sucking FreaksAs for newer ones my all time favorite two movies are not really scary they are House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects, they must be watched in that order. Have to watch the first one to understand the second one. Then there is Diary of the DeadNight of the Living Dead 3D (With Sid Haig) House of the Dead (again with Sid Haig) Land of the DeadHeres a few links for fans of Horror movies: http://www.choptopsbbq.comhttp://www.sidhaig.com/news.php |

| I'll have to do a search on those hard to find ones. I've heard of make them die slowly not the other one. House of 1000 corpses kinda made my head hurt with all the weird camera tricks but I actually do wanna see the 2nd one. I have Diary of the Dead and Land of the Dead - LOVE EM!!! I am definately putting Night of the Living Dead 3D and House of the Dead on my must have list. Thanx for the links too. I sometimes lurk the BloodingDisgusting boards just to see whats going on in the land of horror. I actually got some great wallpapers for the comp there http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19467 here ^ if you're interested. I of course was rockin the original Night of the living dead one but me and hubby are sharing my computer at the moment and the greenish color was too distracting for him so now I have Marilyn - Monroe not Manson. | |

| Has anybody here heard of the Christian Psychological thriller writers Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti? Because a book they wrote called "House" is a movie that is premiering worldwide tomorrow, and it's one of the first ever Christian Psychological Horror Thrillers that is rated R, but only for "Violence and some Terror," whatever that means. Heres a link to the movie trailer on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mGQvhW1Z_IIt looks really awesome, and the book was pretty sweet, too. Just wanted to let you guys know. | |
