| http://www.silentday.org/October 21st. if you have my space or facebook they have links so you can show your support there. they have details on how to participate no matter where you're going to be that day. Flyers, etc. We are picking up some red duct tape when we go home and printing out some flyers. We actually may be home home that day. I can easily go a day without talking. I may even give up the internet that day.....maybe. | |

| THIS POST DOES NOT REFLECT THE BELIEFS OF SANCTUARY INT. NOR ANY OF ITS POSTERS BUT ONE.
Silent protest in this fallen world is way past being effective. I know my oppinion is not popular, but untill abortion clinics are bombed, abortion doctors killed and women wanting abortions are blinded with ice picks abortion will continue. The world is too fallen for peaceful methods anymore. Call it terrorism , call it going overboard....but nothing else has worked nor will it.[ |

| It's more of just a way to draw attention to the issue and show people that you are proudly pro-life. Red duct tape across your mouth with life on it will a the least draw attention. I don't think a day of prayer and silence will fix the problem but it certianly won't hurt any. Personally I wish we could get more people involved and have OUR government stop funding planned parenthood. I steadfastly refuse to support mtv because they contribute to planned parenthood. If we were home more than once every few weeks I'd love to be more involved with assisting to get abortion providers shut down. and just be patient Jim, if we're all still around when the end times start rolling around, then it will be the time for a lot of us to take up the sword. | |

| WOOOHOOO Lev 26:7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
Deu 32:41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. |

Call it terrorism , call it going overboard....but nothing else has worked nor will it.[ That has to be the single most hypocritical unchristian thing I have heard in a long time. So, by your reasoning, you think it's ok to justify killing others in order to stop them from killing babies? Two wrongs don't make a right Jim. The bible says "Thou shalt not kill". That includes not killing abortion doctors.

| Ken, who says I follow the bible? I DO NOT, it goes against nature which is my bible. I put that bible verse up there because it looked good. It said what I believe. You don't believe in killing doctors that kill babies.....Lets use your reasoning....There's a child molesting murderer that kills oh lets say ten babies a day by tearing them apart....what is worse, killing ONE murderer or sitting back like a coward and letting ten babies die per day? You speak as if the law against killing murderers is wrong.....IT ISNT WRONG, IT JUST ISNT INFORCED.
I say they are murderers. They should be executed by law...But if law allows murderers to thrive and make money off of the murder of children...then yes....KILL THEM......Bomb them......any way to save one innocent babies life... If you believe that mankind has the right to kill babies and be protected by law, I say THAT is the most unchristian and hypocritical thing I have ever heard. You may follow the bible on this if you want, but all the billions of prayers that bible followers have sprayed the heavens with for years and years has done nothing. MURDERERS STILL KILL BABIES. I have seen that prayer don't work. I know this is a Christian board and I don't ask anyone to go against their beliefs....I just don't believe in faith anymore. I believe in action.
But Ken, I still respect your right to believe as you see fit and be a pacifist. This unfortunately is America the fallen. May the All-father once again put his hand upon us. |

| No, were still being civil with eachother. I respect Kens right to believe as he wishes. Hes a good dude. We just believe different. His stand on the subject is much more in line with the beliefs of this site than mine are. He is a bible believing Christian. I am a non bible believing follower of the diety I consider to be the true God of Christians, Muslims, Odinists, alike. We all just worship him , follow him different.
I am aware my beliefs are not popular so I do not push them to the point of heated debate. I simply respect other peoples belief and ask the same in return. No need for a locked thread here my little friend. |

| without the bible, you're lost jim. that explains alot. Should we worship the Creator, or creation? Odin ( IPA: /ˈoʊdɪn/ from Old Norse Óðinn), is considered the chief god in Norse paganism. Homologous with the Anglo-Saxon Wōden and the Old High German Wotan, it is descended from Proto-Germanic *Wōđinaz or *Wōđanaz. The name Odin is generally accepted as the modern translation; although, in some cases, older translations of his name may be used or preferred. His name is related to óðr, meaning "fury, excitation", besides "mind", or "poetry". His role, like many of the Norse gods, is complex. He is associated with wisdom, war, battle, and death, and also magic, poetry, prophecy, victory, and the hunt. | |

| Gary,
I do not worship the creation, but the Creator. I see my bible in Nature. One could liken it to the Christian dont worship the bible, they learn from it.
I believe that the One Allfather is indeed the same God as the Christian God as he created everything. But there was too many answers left vacant . I followed the bible for 20 some years and ignored those unanswered questions about God and the nature of God. All that I have been through points to one answer...The one God that would allow me to go through these things.
I wont go into it any deeper on here as it might cause a seeker to stumble. But I have found answers that fit perfectly to all the questions that plagued me. |

| Can I try to be the hippy moderator for once here? LOL OK first try so go easy on me. While I cannot support murdering anyone - innocent babies, the "doctors" who murder them etc- one thing we have to remember is that while the majority of us here are Christian of some sort, this board is say it with me folks "a sanctuary" for everyone. Believers of God, Budda, Allah, mother earth or science we are all welcome here and welcome to express our feelings and ideas as long as we are nice - to each other I'm hoping. And while most of us would like everyone to believe in the Bible and God the Father and creator of the universe, we cannot force our opinions or beliefs on anyone, just try to help them see the way, the truth and the light. Conversion by sword ended with the crucades. I do so hate locked topics. So let's just keep it civil - k? How was that? | |

| No need to worry about a locked topic here. Gary was just stating what the bible says. Its truth according to the bible. I however am forced to no longer believe in its accuracy or truth. Ive learned very quickly to be kind to all believers or athiests alike (except muslims). Its all good. |

| "You shall have no other gods before me." Jim, you're starting to worry me. It's one thing to try to mix God with another god, but He is the Almighty, the great "I AM." No one else can hold to that claim. Especially any other god. Trying to place a god to your own liking is something you KNOW is totally off the wall. I know you don't like being challenged, but you still need to be once in awhile. You can't serve 2 masters. And you certainly can't make a god to your own liking. So, no, Jim. It's not all good. You are not "forced" to believe what you believe. You just want to believe what you belive because it's more comfortable, Jim. That's why this is quite scary to me, because you once believed in the Word of God. | |

| Lia , you are correct in a lot of what you say. I'm very confused at the moment. Ive prayed and prayed for things throughout my life , important stuff and its not worked. Everything I have held close has been taken from me , from people to jobs. Im not creating a God that I like, Odin personifies a God that does not often listen to his followers, Doesnt often grant prayer, doesnt ask us to go against nature.... I dont particularly like a God that dont care much for us, but it makes sense to me that since prayer dont work on the christian God...Just follow a God that dont get your hopes up , wants you to be strong, wants you to follow nature.......
The fact is I dont know what to believe any more....Everything is falling down and Im unable to stop it. God isnt helping... As you know I have a few problems upstairs in the mellon....perhaps I need my meds changed.....Im just confused right now on what to believe.
As for the bible...its just so hard to believe something that dont work and goes against nature. I spent 20 + years believing in it and overlooking the contradictions and things that didnt work...But I need reality . I dont know anymore. |

You know something, Jim? My family is in upheaval right now because of things that we can't control. The more we try to control the situation, the more God reminds us that we can't control it, and we have to relinquish that control. Maybe that's the problem. Also, if you hav issues with bipolar, then you may need something you can use with your meds. I can't really discuss everything on the boards because of privacy issues, but I CAN say, been there, done that. We need to remind ourselves constantly, that we are not under control, and we just have to do the most with our issues. One thing I'm concerned about is that you said you'd have issues with "loving everyone except Muslims." Remember my admonition to you in CRF, and take heed of it: "They need God as much as you do." Remind yourself of that.

I understand, but I see them as the ones that we are in war with. I am unable to see them as anything but roaches that need exterminating....But remember how far I have come. I no longer hate jews or non whites. I have a black friend and a girl that has a baby by a black person in my top friends list on myspace. A VERY SPECIAL girl to me is mesianic Jew, So its one step at a time for me. And btw, I had another med added to my daily regiment, that might help. |

| There are those who want to do us harm. Those Muslims are the ones to avoid, but there's another side to this: could be be Jesus for those who need Him? Let me tell you a true story. There was a pastor who saw a homeless camping out in front of the church. At first, the pastor was complaining about the laws that are allowing homeless people to camp out in the public (we've got a bunch of useless laws in this state, but that's for another debate). However, God convicted him, and he decided to talk to the man. The man may have been a Muslim, yet he was without a family or home. The church offered him their bathroom facilities, and the pastor's wife was able to buy some toiletries and other things he would need. Even the church members opened up the food closet and food was given. When asked why he picked this church, he said, "I felt I needed to be closer to God." A few weeks later, the pastor saw the man. He had found a job and is living in a small place. It's not much, but he said it was enough. If you are without a home, and you are grateful for what you have, chances are, anything would be like a castle. Now, in case you didn't catch the gist of the story, that pastor is someone I have grown to know personally since I started going to this new church. The man's name is Mohammed, and we're hoping he'll come on our Friends Day. Maybe someday, we can present the Gospel, but first, he needed to be fed. A little love goes a long way, Jim. This Is the heart of God. | |

| I dont mean to sound rude, Honest I dont, but the moment I found out he was a muslim I would have kicked him in the teeth and told him this is for the thousands of innocent people your Muslim God killed. Please dont take this wrong.....But I hate them with the blackest of hates...So much so that when 9/11 happened I stopped hating everyone else. Only muslims....Again this might sound rude But I hope they all burn in hell, man , woman, and child. |
