| I spent a month trying to find the perfect hard rock metal guitar. I have found it in the Gibson Les Paul studio electric. Link http://www.zzounds.com/item--GIBLPSTU This guitar fits like a glove and plays very smooth and bold. It's is a replica of the 1959 Les Paul. With a few modifications. I'll be paying this off for quite a while. But it's a very good investment. With a 30 day money back guarantee. I doubt I would ever send this back. Compared to the LP's this a good bargin on a Les Paul Gibson. Anyway I'm a guitar nut and could not resist. Do any of you know any Chistian guitar players that use this model? C-ya, Jimmy | |

| the les paul studio is much better for a long set because it is not nearly as heavy as a les paul original.....I was in a band once with the lead guitarist playing a LP studio. |

| Not to bad Lia. I have a chord progression encyclopedia. Put out by Howard Wallach. There is a wealth of chords in this book. I like to practice when I have free time. Which has not been to much lately. The neck on the Les Paul Gibson is thick. I find it fits me better at the moment. I also like the thin neck guitars as well. I'm basicaly having to teach myself everything. The internet is full of guitar tabs and helps. Our good friend Mike is going to set up some web lessons via one of the messengers. As soon as we can agree on a time. Jimmy | |

| Jimmy would have to have a bit of a drive to have Oz as his guitar teacher. That would be the same for me, since I'm also in Central CA. | |

| Oz Fox would be an amazing guitar teacher. Maybe I could fly in to LA a few times a week hehe. Yeah right .Having a blast with the Les Paul. Been doing a lot of noodling. Also starting to learn the pentatonic scale. Back to the grind. | |
