THE UNBORN WHISPER 5/02/06

I listen to your beating heart,
Fall asleep to it's steady rhyme.
Soon I will see your face,
For soon it will be time.
I'll get to see my daddy's face
And match it with the voice
But then I hear the frightening truth
As you tell him of your choice.
You say you can not have me,
That you want me gone instead
You say that your life would be better
If I was only dead.
Soon I feel a burning pain
And soon become real weak
Then your words seem to fade
Until I cannot hear you speak
Do you no longer love me?
Why do you want me gone?
Where is it that I failed you?
Where have I gone wrong?
Even though I'm dying
This I think you should know
I will always love you
No matter where I go.
You are still my mother
You have made your choice
Even though you cannot see me
You will hear my voice.
In the quiet night I'll speak to you
Let you know that I'm not mad.
I want you to know that I love you
And that you shouldn't be sad.
Tell Daddy that I love him.
And that I can't wait to see his face
For I will see both of you
When you come to this Heavenly place.
Even though you hurt me
And I am no longer on your earth
I want you to still love me
As if you had given birth
For I was still a person
Even though I was so small
But I still want you to know
I love you after all.
So when you come to meet me
I'll be in Jesus' care
So remember that I love you
And that I'll see you there.

ANOTHER POEM BY MY OLDEST DAUGHTER.

The Song of the Rose
Thursday, June 30, 2005 2:00:36 AM
A single rose grew in the woods
Trees muffled out her cries
Dew rolled off her petals like tears
Streaming from her eyes
No one ever noticed her
She was alone in her fear
Until one mighty giant
Gently wiped away a tear
The rose looked up in horror
As the mighty giant spoke
He saw her in amongst the trees
And didn't find her a joke.
The giant lifted her up
And let her touch the sky
She felt safe with his touch
She felt like she could fly
The giant never left her
They stayed side by side
Until the day war broke out
And the rose's giant died.
In the grave the giant lay
The rose lay on the top
They stayed together since they met
And they will never stop.
